It's a Hole in the Wall...

I was with Camera in hand taking a picture of one of my most favorite breakfast places to eat. It's not fancy, it's not in a high end area and I found it by accident! For all of you that know me, I'm sure you'll appreciate this. I went to do some Holiday shopping and I was FAMISHED! All I wanted was breakfast and the place that I went to was only serving lunch. The people at that particular restaurant said to go to Maxie's. I walked in and said that I wanted to eat breakfast. The guy looked at me and said, "We just shut off the grills and we're only serving lunch. Erik looks at me and said, "Let's stay and get a coffee & decide where we can go for breakfast". Out of a low blood sugar level moment, I looked with a raise of the eyebrow and said, "I'm not interested in sitting here sipping coffee when what I want is breakfast". Another waiter overheard me and said, "Let me seat you now...I'll make sure you get breakfast". Ha, ha, ha! His name is Mark and he's been my waiter ever since. He knows how to treat The Duchess! :-) AND I didn't even have to train him....he came already trained. The world needs more clones of him! :-)

All is well! I'm back to work...my back is sooooo much better. I actually had another PT appointment this a.m. that I had to miss. The physical therapist never showed up! Imagine that! I also was not willing to wait any longer because I was already going to be 10 minutes late for work! However, I did make sure that I am going to be seen at the time of my scheduled appointment this week. YEAH!

Happy St. Patty's Day! A lot of people were out celebrating tonight. I got to see a few out with green. I forgot it was St. Patty's until someone actually said something at work today! YIKES!

Training in Dallas

What a view....I recently went to Dallas for training with Steve & Kathy and our last night in the City, I wanted to check out the restaurant that rotates. It was closed for renovations but it was beautiful to see up close at night. It reminds me of the large Christmas kissing balls. I did get to drive by the buildingarea where JFK was asassinated. It seems so different...the area than what I've seen in the footage on the Discovery channel.

So, today, many of you might be wondering why I have time to post. I'm flat on my back. Since this trip to Texas, I've been having lower back pain that won't go away. I'm off to see the doctor and most likely, have an x-ray. Many of you know that it kills me to just lay around!!!!! I always seem to think that it's my body's way of telling me I need "time out". At least, that's what gets me through it. I'll keep you all posted. Until then, peace and love!
